I went to Pop Burger in Midtown last Thursday for an after work event. It was very sleek and open - the space definitely lent itself to getting a quick drink. Birthday Party Booker was able to get me and my co-workers a free bottle of vodka at Pop Burger, so that made the happy hour MUCH happier! If you're looking to throw a party in new york city, this is a great option.
Who would have thought that a place with such a cheesy name (pun intended) would be so much fun? I didn't, but that opinion quickly changed! Pop Burger was really cool. One of my friends made jokes about the name but in the end they all thanked me for putting them onto a new place to frequent on the weekends... and guess where my friend with the big mouth had his next birthday?
I was definitely shocked when I got to Pop Burger Midtown because it was a rare space. It wasn't like most bars which is exactly what I was looking for. My friends and I played pool and danced all night and this place was perfect because you didn't feel like you were at some seedy pool hall. At the end of the night, we were a little bit hungry, probably due to the excessive drinking - the burgers were amazing! Pop Burger is a sick place to have your birthday party in New York City.
