Vibe: You like girls and drinking.  Girls like cowboys (except that naked one that hangs out in Times Square).  Cowboys like drinking.  Hence, a cowboy watering hole right in the middle of New York City, like Johnny Utah’s, is the perfect place to bring all of your favorite things together for your birthday party.    

Spot: When the centerpiece of a bar is a large, furry mechanical bull (free rides all night long), you know the place gets rowdy.  Add the bottles of Jack Daniels on every table, the vintage portraits of gunmen and harlots, the perfect mix of authentically rustic but chic décor, and the thirsty and beautiful mouths of Rockefeller Center’s party-ready clientele, and you’ve got an epic birthday party on your hands.  And not to worry, although the atmosphere is southwestern, the patrons are far from small town folk: expect top-shelf DJs every Friday and Saturday.       

Grub: This place doesn’t play around with anything frou frou.  Wings, short-rib chili, rib-eye, Kentucky fried catfish, and braised pork roast are the norm.  Wash all that down with a choice from the extensive list of tequilas and whiskeys, and you’ll forget all about being in New York City.    

The Deal: Listen up: if you want your birthday party to get unruly, Johnny Utah’s is a solid bet.  An old saloon character with a stylishly modern twist, this place is built for good times and a boisterous (to put it lightly) crowd.  Where else can you find a place where every table has a bottle of Jack awaiting you and your guests?  Well, maybe heaven..

Also, they have no issue extending their drink specials for your party: $3.00 domestic beers, $5.00 margaritas and $5.00 vodkas!
