Spot: Finding that perfect mix of glamour, class, and stripper poles can be tougher than getting Johnny Knoxville to put his balls away. Luckily, Foundation has found a way to seamlessly blend the glitz of Vegas with the attitude of New York City, and with a minimum of incriminating body glitter.
Vibe: A glam space filled with mini chandeliers, a draped ceiling, a gold-mirrored wall, exposed brick and one infamous stripper pole, Foundation is a dimly lit L.E.S. wonderland of socialites, celebs, and chic-leaning hipsters. There is a back section for private parties up to 100, and a raised banquet area for optional bottle service or stylish sipping (a.k.a. when your sexy dance moves have progressed to a controlled stumble). Foundation also features “Spun Tuesdays,” which gives average Joes and Jills the chance to bolster (or ruin) their DJ reps.
Grub: A-list caterers Relish provide the eats for Foundation. Relish has received great reviews and mentions in publications such as Gotham, Hamptons, and m&c.
The Deal: Much like late nights at MC Hammer’s house from early to mid 1990, Foundation is a rowdy party amidst a beautifully upscale atmosphere. The surroundings are lush, the mood is loose, and the crowd is very ready to get down and (delightfully) dirty.
