Vibe: If you want your party fast, flamboyant, and a bit European, this is your stop.  Located in the basement of Hotel Giraffe, the crowd is a mix of posh European hotel guests and New York City’s Euro-influenced club goers, and the vibe finds a balance of fashion, inebriation, and class. 

Spot:  With cinderblock archways, white leather booths, and glowing blue ceilings all set to ambient Euro beats, this place will definitely make your birthday party feel like a Footballer’s (or Footballer’s wife’s) drunken dream.  The crowd is stunning and flashy, the music is seductive, and the mood is decidedly un-American… in a good way. 

Grub:  The theme is Spanish-influenced American fare, and it doesn’t disappoint.  While Barna’s tapas are its most popular choices, there are also signature dishes like Crispy Black Sea Bass with baby artichokes, black olives, asparagus & lemon confit.  Also make sure to let the booze flow (as if you needed reminding); the sangria is fresh, and the Spanish wine list is extensive.  Salud!
