Anchor was a BLAST! We had no issues getting and and went straight to our table which was right off the dance floor. Me and my friends literally danced the entire night and I'm not sure if that's because of the free booze or the music being really good. The drinks were definitely cheaper here then at most of the snotty places in New York City. Everybody was really nice, from the owner to the bartenders. I'd definitely go back to Anchor again, whether it's for my birthday or a friends. Many thanks to them for making my 26th a birthday that I'll sincerely never forget and hardly remember.
Anchor was a blast. All my buddies had fun. All I have to say is that the crowd is a real eye-pleaser. Come single, leave happy. I'd book this place for next year if I could.
So my friends and I walked in not expecting much, but the place was sweet. It was a little slow when we got there but ended up really picking up. Depending on the night, you might get some skeezes, but that’s every place. But the drinks were AMAZing! At the end of the night we could barely leave. I would recommend coming here, the music was great and the DJ was pretty hot.

If you need a spot to do your birthday, Anchor bar in New York City is a great time. It was cheap, fun, and easy to get into. BPB definitely hooked it up this time.
Anchor Bar is THE place to be. I threw my 21st bash here and I had a ball, everyone kept asking me how I found out about the place.
When I got to the place I was asked who's party I was there for and I simply smiled and said MINE! They were so welcoming I was quickly wished a Happy Birthday and introduced to Chelsea my hostess/ go-to person(she was awesome!). The DJ kept me happy and dancing all night as promised by my specialist.
I had invited so many people and being that this place is extremely popular(crowded) on a Saturday night, there was a waiting period later on in the evening but my people did get in and had a blast.
